For more than 60 years, the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) has applied science and technology to make the world a safer place.

The Industrial Partnerships Office within the Director’s Office is offering high school students the opportunity to engage in practical work experience to further their educational goals.
Selected applicants will be required to provide most current unofficial transcripts and obtain a work permit through their High School.
Essential Duties
- Develop and format content for the IPO Website.
- Research data and information on IPO start-up companies from the past five years.
- Conduct market research on LLNL technologies
- Under close supervision, will participate in related work in the assigned area.
- Must be currently admitted or enrolled in an accredited high school pursuing a high school diploma.
- Proven academic achievement.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PhotoShop, iMovie.
- Proficient in high school level mathematics.
- Effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Pre-Employment Drug Test:  External applicant(s) selected for this position will be required to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test.

Anticipated Clearance Level:  None.


NOTE:  This is a Temporary Student intern appointment.  This assignment is for a full time position during the month of June 2016.  Refer to the Scholar Program website at for additional student employment information
